The Works at NYSCI is a blog by Eric Siegel, Director and Chief Content Officer at the New York Hall of Science (www.nysci.org). The blog will document challenging aspects of innovative projects in exhibition, technology, art, publication, and education. We will write about collaborations, new technologies, new pedagogical approaches, and current thinking in museum work.
Eric Siegel has worked in museums in New York City for thirty years. He has been on the graduate faculty of New York University’s Museum Studies and ITP programs, and consulted with clients ranging from the Jet Propulsion Laboratory of NASA to They Might Be Giants. He is the Past President of the National Association for Museum Exhibition and currently leads the development of new initiatives at NYSCI.
